The LIFT (Lead, Inspire, Facilitate, Transform) Training Program is an innovative leadership program designed to develop inclusive, diverse and effective leaders. It has been developed over 20 years of leadership experience and specialization and consists of separate yet integrated training modules.
Interact with Tact and Professionalism
A foundational class that equips participants with essential skills to communicate clearly, reduce communication pitfalls, and interact professionally in a business setting. We learn how to ask the right questions, so work gets done correctly the first time, as well as the proper way to deliver difficult news with confidence and empathy. We examine guidelines to better understand when written, phone, or in-person communication is most effective. We learn how to read body language more effectively as non-verbal information often carries more meaning than the words themselves.
Manage for Maximum Performance
The role of managing has shifted dramatically in recent years. Today managers must lead from a position of partnership, responsibility and authority. In this session we identify our Primary Leadership Style and when it‘s appropriate to use each leadership style. We learn to define and convey clear, attainable, and tailored goals, as well as developing our peoples Capacity and Desire to accomplish tasks.
Build High Performance Teams
Have you ever been a part of an ineffective or dysfunctional team? Or part of a team that can’t seem to move forward? We begin this class examining the characteristics of high performing teams and looking at the strengths and roles within your teams. We learn our Primary Team Style and address what team style will lead to optimum performance. We diagnose your current team’s health by observing three types of team behaviors.
Communication Skills to Motivate Part 1
An essential session for learning to match your communication style with the style of the recipient, resulting in a much more meaningful and motivating exchange. We examine the relationship between motivation and people’s behavior and the fact that motivators are not always obvious, but behavior is. We discover communication triggers and how to adapt accordingly. We begin to look at the different stages of conflict and to keep conflict from escalating.
Communication Skills to Motivate Part 2
We expand on the premise that people’s psychological and social behavior is influenced by their motivators, and matching the communication style to the recipient can bring a more immediate and desired result. We examine how a personality weakness may be no more than an overdone strength. Participants learn their communication/social style when in stress and we further develop how to approach people in conflict to de-escalate stressful situation.
Turn Conflict into Productivity (Including Emotional Intelligence)
All organizations experience conflict; the best organizations surface the challenges and resolve them. We discover our Conflict Management Style and learn which style is best to use in different situations. We explore the three stages of conflict and use Emotional Intelligence to transform tension into progress.
Effective leaders value coaching as an avenue to grow talent to become more confident, better solve organizational challenges, and take hold of new opportunities. Five Steps to Successful Delegation
With increasing demands on our time and resources, it’s impossible to achieve all we must accomplish without the help of others. Not only do we delegate less often than we should, but many of us struggle with how and when to delegate effectively, especially if we don’t have direct reports. We learn a five-step system to hold people accountable in a positive way which makes delegation a confident and consistent habit. As a result, we become more productive by mastering the ability to matching work with the right team member.

Multi-Generational Workplace
Our current workplace is unique. This is the first time we can have five different generations working side by side. We begin by understanding the five generations, which generation you identify with, and how it shapes your leadership lens. We examine each generation’s motivators as well as methods, values, and tips for approaching each generation. We address potentially sticky situations and how to master them.
I.D.E.A.L. Problem Solving
The ability to problem solve is a fundamental skill essential in our day-to-day lives, whether professional or personal. We explore the three stages of a problem and how to define the problem, so everyone is aligned. We learn to apply a five-step, easy to remember problem solving technique that fosters a culture where team members take ownership of the solutions.
Negotiation to Collaboration
Skilled negotiation fosters mutual respect and stronger bonds with clients, partners, and colleagues. We examine how to prepare for a negotiation and identify your Sources of Power. We learn ten negotiation strategies as well as practice a three-step collaboration technique for win/win results – and – methods to maintain dignity, respect, and cooperation under pressure.
Beyond Customer Satisfaction
One of your most important relationships is between you and your customers. Simply put, exceptional customer service results in customer and employee retention which results in repeat business. We identify all customers including the unapparent ones. We’ll explore the top service complaints and the four forbidden phrases, as well as how to deal with a difficult customer, and the six steps for recovering a customer that rebuilds trust and loyalty.
