Patricia “Patti” Hawkins
Patricia “Patti” Hawkins brings more than 25 years of experience in management, facilitation, executive coaching, and curriculum development within the learning and development field. Her work focuses on increasing productivity and effectiveness for individuals, teams, and organizations by strengthening leadership capability and communication.
Patricia holds a Master of Arts in Transpersonal Psychology, with specializations in Leadership and Conflict Transformation, from Atlantic University, and a bachelor’s degree from Radford University. She is a former certified Dale Carnegie® instructor and has extensive experience designing and delivering high-impact leadership programs.
Having grown up internationally in Spain, Eritrea, Italy, and England, Patricia brings a global perspective to her work. She is actively engaged in her community, having served with Therapy Dogs International, Inc. and on the Board of Directors for the Southeastern Virginia Chapter of the Association for Talent Development. She resides in Virginia Beach with her husband, Mark, and their cocker spaniel, Ellie, and maintains personal practices that support mindful leadership and professional development.

Mark Hawkins
Mark Hawkins serves as President and is responsible for marketing Excelerate’s in-person programs and works as a technical expert in producing the virtual sessions. With a strong background in sales and business development, Mark has earned multiple prestigious awards for sales excellence. His primary focus is ensuring client satisfaction and delivering a measurable return on investment for every engagement.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Radford University and works closely with clients to understand organizational goals and align training solutions for maximum impact. Outside of his professional role, Mark is an accomplished guitarist and luthier (building guitars for both himself and on commission) and a lifelong learner. He and his wife, Patti, and their cocker spaniel, Ellie, enjoy spending time at the beach, boating, and cooking together.
